Y’all! I’ve already told you I’m on the fall train over here! But I may not have told you I’m making it my mission to create as many new, delicious, AND healthy recipes as I can. But I am now!
Fall flavors and foods are part of what I love most about the season, but they aren’t always the most nutritious. I want to change that, so I’ll be sharing some of my favorite clean eating recipes with all of the yummy fall flavors. This breakfast recipe is a perfect way to start off the season!
With the cooler weather quickly approaching, I’ve found myself wanting to get a jump on all thins pumpkin. So, the other day when I was trying to come up with a fun activity, I couldn’t help but do one that was fall themed. I knew a basic recipe for no cook play dough, so I decided to use it and add a little of one of my favorite fall spices to make this Pumpkin Pie Play Dough! It was a real hit all around, and I didn’t have to worry about it going into little mouths because all the ingredients are edible!
Okay, okay, I understand there may be some of you out there who are just rolling your eyes because you can’t stand the thought of hearing any more about the beloved PSL. While I am an avid lover of this delectable beverage, I won’t bore you with another rendition on that. However, I do want to share a few reasons you may want to consider adding pumpkin to your healthy food repertoire outside of your coffee mug. Pumpkin is a nutritional powerhouse (although all of the added sugar in a latte probably negate that) that delivers antioxidants and fiber as well as other health benefits. Continue reading
