When I first started coaching, I felt like I had all of the resources I needed to set my challengers up for success. While that was true then, it is EVEN more true now!!! I am pretty excited to share that Beachbody is giving a pretty big gift this season – a revolution in fitness – but more on that later!

I don’t know about you, but it seems like for me the holiday season has always been about one thing…The FOOD! Now, don’t bet me wrong. I know the real reason for the season, but as far as celebrating goes, most of our traditions revolve around food. And I don’t mean the healthy ones. One of the things that I hear most often from people is “I would eat healthier, but it’s just SO expensive!” While I give it to you that eating well can be a bit of a drain on the budget, I am also here to tell you that you can eat very well and very nutritiously without maxing out your budget. I’m sure you’re thinking, “Yeah, right?! How do you figure?” at this point, so I also wanted to share my simplest, easiest tips for eating healthy on a budget.

One of our most common excuses for avoiding healthy eating is that it’s too expensive, and we don’t have the money. While I’ll agree that healthy eating can be costly, it really doesn’t have to be that much more expensive than any other type of eating if you use some simple strategies to stick to a budget. I’ve been using these tricks for months, and I can honestly say that we’re able to save money each week but still stay on track with our healthy eating goals. Do we always have the widest variety of foods? Nope, not always, but we always enjoy tasty and healthy food without spending too much!
