Stretch marks are a relatively common trademark of pregnancy. In fact, nearly 90% of women get stretch marks at some point during pregnancy. With those statistics in mind, I knew I wanted to do everything I could to prevent them, so I came up with my own personal approach to ward off this hallmark sign of pregnancy. When it comes down to it, though, my “strategy” was pretty simple and could apply to keeping your skin healthy whether pregnant or not. So, if you want to keep your skin looking and feeling its best, try these things.
Much like my hair care routine has gone through a number of changes, so has my skin care routine. From using all of the “right” products and being a brand snob to simply scrubbing with a washcloth at the end of the day, I feel like I’ve done it all for caring for my face. But, what about an effective and healthy skin care regimen that is frugal to boot? Well, that’s the routine I’m following now, and I love it.
