Okay, so I seriously contemplated switching out the name of this recipe because I know what you’re thinking…Black beans? In my brownies? Ewww!
And honestly, about a week ago, I was right there with you, but for some reason, I was having a hankering for some rich, fudgy brownies. But I’ve been doing a lot better with staying on track with my nutrition and didn’t want to just give in to the traditional “treat,” so I decided to get a little creative.
If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you’ve probably already seen my sweet tooth confession. But, in any case, I’ll repeat it here. I have a serious sweet tooth. As in, sweets are my food love language…I think we all have our “vices” or go-tos when it comes to foods we can hardly resist, and sweet treats are mine. So, for the most part, it’s been an all or nothing thing. And, for the last several months that has leaned more to nothing – no sweet treats to avoid the all-to-frequent overindulgence in treats. However, I recently found this guilt-free, incredibly delicious peanut butter treat that I’ll now probably be enjoying at least once a week.
