Free Workouts to Help You Get Your Sweat On

Cost can be a major factor that limits how much you work out. Forget the excuse and get your sweat on for free with these fun workouts available anywhere!One thing that can limit when, where, and how much I exercise is cost. While working out itself doesn’t typically cost anything, the equipment, memberships, and other requirements of some workout plans can definitely “up the ante,” so to speak. I don’t know about you, but we don’t typically have it in the budget to pay for a costly gym membership or workout program. My health regimen hasn’t suffered at all from that, though. In fact, I’ve been able to find a bunch of free workouts that I love. Here are a few of my favorites!

The Best Free Workouts You Can Do Almost Anywhere

I do much better when I have a regular plan to follow for my workouts. So, these ideas have been lifesavers for me. What do I love the most about them, though? I can do them virtually anywhere! So, whether we’re on the road or at home, I don’t have to worry about where I’m going to work out or how much it’s going to cost. That’s a definite win!

1. Jessica Smith TV

As long as you have an internet connection and a computer, you have instant access to tons of free and fun workouts from Jessica Smith TV. I love that she offers workouts for all activity levels, too!

2. Fitness Blender

I’ve also grown to love Fitness Blender workouts! This resource also offers a variety of workouts at different intensity levels. The site also has a new feature I love – a searchable workout database! I’ve not seen many other places where you can search by keyword, workout length, calorie burn, and difficulty level. It’s awesome!

3. Gaiam TV

Gaiam TV features a variety of yoga and pilates workout videos. I love to do these on days where I’m really need to relax and de-stress but still want to get in a good workout!

4. DoYogaWithMe.Com

DoYogaWithMe is another great resource for any type of yoga workout. This site even offers classes that focus on specific trouble areas like your hips and back. I’ve been able to learn more of the fundamentals of yoga from this site, and really enjoy it!

5. SparkPeople

SparkPeople is another great resource. It’s one that I haven’t used quite as much as some of the others, but I’ve still found some great videos over there. It’s also unique in that it features free fitness trackers as well as a fitness plan designed for you if you choose to sign with a free account.

Don’t let cost deter you from working out regularly. The internet is full of great resources to help you maintain your fitness. These are just a few of my favorite sites, but there are tons of others!

No matter what type of workout you prefer, you can find resources that are free or nearly free to keep your fitness costs minimal. And, hey! There’s always a good old run or walk to get your daily workout in with little investment!
