Chocolate Superfood Smoothies

Let me just put this out there first…I have ALWAYS had a sweet tooth, like eat all the icing off the cake type sweet tooth. So when I started hearing people say that their Shakeology helped with their cravings for sweets, well, I was skeptical to say the least. BUT I did a little research and gave it a try.

And it has made ALL the difference! So now I share it with everyone I come across because when you find something good, you share it, right?! 😉

Since I’ve now been doing this whole superfood smoothie thing for a while now, I figured it was high time I shared a few of my favorite recipes with you! And what better recipes to share for a recovering sugar addict than the CHOCOLATE ones! For each of the recipes, combine the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Yep, it’s that simple!


1. Almond Joy

  • 1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • ice

2. Chocolate Turtle

  • 1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/4 cup pecan halves
  • 1 teaspoon caramel extract
  • ice

3. Chocolate Pecan Pie

  • 1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/4 cup pecan halves
  • ice

4. Nutty Buddy

  • 1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 2 teaspoons peanut butter
  • 1/2 banana
  • ice

5. Chocolate Covered Strawberry

  • 1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • ice
